Lakeshore Music Ministry
The great composer Johann Sebastian Bach said, “The aim and final reason of all music is none else but the glory of God and the refreshment of the spirit.” Our Parish is blessed to have gifted singers and skillful instrumentalists who participate in our ministry week after week. The purpose of our Lakeshore Youth Choir is to help the congregation at all our liturgies to raise their heart, mind, and soul to God in worship and to give an opportunity to the young people of our parishes to use their God-given talents in worshiping the Lord. St. Augustine of Hippo (+430) is often quoted as having said “He who sings, prays twice.”
Shout joyfully to the Lord, all you lands;
serve the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful song.
(Psalm 100:2).
